 VHAC aims to attend medical conferences and exhibitions to promote awareness. Both Fabia Brackenbury, the Founder of VHAC and Professor Allan B MacLean (Trustee of the charity) give talks in the UK and internationally about the importance of vulval health awareness. Some of the events and conferences attended are listed below:

2008

14 May - Fabia attending a Vulval Dermatoses Study Day for doctors and members of the medical profession, organised by Dr Cari Aplin, Royal United Hospital, Bath. The VHAC leaflet display stand will be available on this day.

Both Fabia and Allan MacLean attended at the BSSVD 2008 Biennial Scientific Meeting Cardiff University on the 3rd and 4th April 2008.

Fabia is expected to be shown on Channel 4 TV's Embarrassing Illnesses show on 30th April at 9pm performing vulval self examination. Fabia is believed to be the first woman in the world to perform this examination on TV - a major breakthrough for vulva health awareness.
